Case Studies

Framingham Picture

Vance L.

Vance was able to make improvements to his home in Framingham which saved $632 on his annual heating bill simply by replacing his older, less efficient heating system. By insulating his home and installing mini-split heat pumps not only saved him money in the long run, but it helped immediately by making his home more comfortable.

Travis D.

Travis from Greenfield was determined to make his house that was built in 1902, more energy efficient and was able to have the cost of his $10,000 improvements completely financed by his energy provider, Eversource. The Mass Save program is estimated to have saved Travis the cost of 630 gallons of gas annually, simply by installing modern appliances.

George D.

George was advised by his accountant to order a home energy assessment to get an idea of the possible ways he could save money as a semi-retired individual. He received $3,814 from Eversource and the total cost he had to pay for the upgrades were offset by the amount he saved on his energy bill within the first year following the improvements.
